Girl Guiding New Zealand is an iconic movement which has been running in New Zealand since 1908. GirlGuiding is all about girls and young women – offering them opportunities to develop their own special personalities and be themselves.

We were delighted to be invited by Girl Guiding New Zealand to redesign and develop their website to align with their fresh branding and updated image.

The brief was challenging and fun, the redesigned website had to appeal to young women ranging in ages from 5 to 18 years and over, which crossed quite a range of requirements to capture the target audiences’ interests. The site needed to have a membership logged in area for leaders to access resources and a discussion forum.

A key requirement was the website had to be maintained in-house by Girl Guiding NZ staff with no technical html background.

We devised a web solution around the world-class Plone Content Management System working with our development friends at The Virtual.

The final site is just great! We are really proud of the design and look forward to tracking the results with Girl Guiding New Zealand to measure how successful the new website will be for them.
